With one of the worst wildfires in French history gradually being brought under control in southwestern Gironde region, life is slowly returning. In summertime, that means tourism - holidaymakers are trying to get their plans back on track as hotels and campsites reopen. But for the businesses that rely on vacationers, it will be a long road to recovery, with the already record fire season still not over.
