Older workers are more bullish on AI than younger ones

Older employees are significantly more positive about AI than their younger colleagues, according to a new survey by Glassdoor. Among members of Generation X (those born between 1965 and 1980), nearly half of respondents had a positive view of the new AI technology. At the same time, just one-third of Generation Z (that is, those born between 1997 and 2012) share that same level of positivity. The reason younger people have a more negative attitude toward AI? Strong concerns that the technology will eventually take their jobs, reports Bloomberg. Older people, on the other hand, feel more confident that their experience in the workplace will allow them to hang onto their jobs until they retire.
